It needs to be said that one of the favourites to win the ongoing T20 World Cup is Australia, considering their rich cricket legacy and fighting spirit. However, it appears that the Australian team is finding it extremely hard to sustain momentum in the tournament.

The shocking part is that Australia has already lost two games in the group stage itself, and these defeats came against relatively weaker teams like Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

At this stage, Australia must definitely win their remaining matches and hope that Zimbabwe lose both of their games. If Zimbabwe can win at least one of their remaining two matches, they will eliminate Australia and progress to the Super 8, which would be a significant achievement.
