Absolute Legend, How Lucky India Is To Have Him!

If the discussion is about who is the greatest bowler of this current generation in international Cricket, most people who have a decent knowledge of Cricket would obviously point the finger at Jaspreet Bumrah.

For the last few years, Bumrah has been one of the leading performers in global Cricket, and this was on display again in the T20 World Cup last night.

Bumrah was absolutely brilliant with the ball as he picked up four wickets by giving away, just 15 runs in his quota of 4 overs. He was virtually unplayable as New Zealand batsman found it extremely hard to even survive against him.

There is no debating the fact that Bumrah is possibly the greatest bowling exponent in the world at the moment, and his ability to not just pick up crucial wickets but put a stop on flow of runs in important junctures is unlike anything.

No other bowler in contemporary Cricket has as much efficiency as Bumrah when it comes to performing at the biggest stages. Add to this legacy, Bumrah was very close to picking up a hattrick in the World Cup final last night, and it was a minor disappointment that he couldn’t do so.

India can consider themselves as a very lucky team to have such an outrageously talented and effective bowler like Bumrah and perhaps he could very well be regarded as the potential captain of the team at least in one format, if not two.
