Hero For India, But A Bummer In IPL?

Indian cricketer face, this constant pressure of having to perform in each and every single game to their fullest capacity. Whenever they failed to match the expectations, they are obviously bound to come under the scrutiny on social media. 

This is exactly the case with Sanju Samson now. After having completed a remarkable T20 World Cup for India, where he almost single-handedly took the team through the knockout stage and the final game, Sanju is facing a lot of criticism now.

Sanju Samson moved from Rajasthan Royals to Chennai Super Kings this year in what could be considered one of the biggest transitions in IPL. In accordance with this great things were expected of this talented player by Chennai fans.

However, Sanju Samson has failed miserably in giving a positive start to the team in the first 2 games that were played till now. He got out scoring less than 10 runs in both the games that he has played and this isn’t what CSK fans had been hoping for.

There is a lot of negative criticism and trolls happening on Sanju Samson after his performances in the IPL and many of these are very funny. It turns out to be that Sanju who was regarded as a hero for India in that T20 World Cup has quickly become a sore player in the IPL.  

At the end of the day, it must be kept in mind that we are in very early stages of the tournament, and Sanju also will need some time to settle into this new CSK setup. He is an incredibly gifted player and is bound to come good sometime in the future.
