Today promised to be a blockbuster day of Cricket as we had two games in the ongoing IPL season and both of them had excitement attached to them.
The first game was between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow super Giants. Sunrisers were very bad with the bat in the first half of the first innings and ended up scoring 156 runs. In response to this, Lucknow was pretty solid with the bat and they could come up with a comprehensive run chase.
Sunrisers have had a mixed start to the IPL 2026 as they have won a single game while losing two. The men in orange will have to pick up their game at the earliest in order to stay alive in the tournament
This was followed by the game between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which is one of the most anticipated games of the tournament.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter first and they scored a sensational 250 runs in their first innings. Some insane hitting by Tim David and Rajat Patidar did the job for RCB as they posted a huge target for Chennai Super Kings.
Chennai Super Kings batting lineup, which was already struggling at the tournament could not come anywhere close to the target and the ended of registering their third successive defeat in the tournament.
CSK have completed a hattrick of defeats in the first three games of the tournament, and they are in a desperate position now. It has to be seen if the return of MS Dhoni and Dewald Brewis would change things up anytime in the near future for this team.
