SRH Dhamaka: 4 In 4 Wins, But Big Game Next!

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a rather mixed start to the tournament this year by losing a couple of games on the trot. But things have changed drastically now as SRH is one of the most consistent teams in the league now. 

With a significant victory against Rajasthan tonight, Sunrisers Hyderabad have made it 4 wins in 4 games consecutively. 

Rajasthan batted first in this game and they scored a pretty solid 228 runs in the first innings. A sensational hundred from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, created an absolute storm in the first innings as RR was set a massive target.

However, the boys in Orange were absolutely lethal with the bat in the second innings. With solid contributions from Ishaan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy, Sunrisers Hyderabad made light work of this chase against Rajasthan.

Towards the end, this significant target of nearly to the runs was chased down with an over to spare by the Hyderabad team. This will go down as one of the finest run chases in the history of the league. 

This is a pretty consolidated result for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but they will face the big challenge of coming up against champion team, Mumbai Indians in the next game, which is scheduled for April 29.

Interestingly, both the games today were high-scoring affairs with nearly 1000 runs scored in all 4 innings combined. It is safe to say that today was an absolute paradise for the batters in IPL.
