Today has been a completely mixed bag in the ongoing IPL season, as we had two different games that had two completely different stories to tell.
First, it was the game between Chennai and Gujarat, which was completely boring fest from start to end. This game was comfortably won by Gujarat in the end.
This is followed by a game between Kolkata and Lucknow, which turned out to be a completely low scoring thriller. This game went till the last ball and produced the first super over game of the season.
The super over also turned out to be an interesting one as Kolkata was able to restrict Lucknow for just one run. This was quickly chess down by Kolkata in the very first ball of their quota itself.
Rinku Singh was the Hero for Kolkata Knight Riders as he was brilliant with the bat and also in the field. Fittingly enough, it was Rinku who hit the winning runs for Kolkata in the super over.
What started as a boring start to the day with the game between Chennai and Gujarat, eventually ended up being a super interesting one as Kolkata and Lucknow produced a thriller.
