The IPL is producing one of its greatest young talents in the form of Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has become an absolute sensation with the bat.
Even last night against Hyderabad, when Rajasthan was in a difficult position while batting first, Vaibhav was absolutely breathtaking with the bat.
Vaibhav was sensational as he scored 97 runs off just 29 deliveries and came very close to setting the record for the fastest century in IPL history. Nevertheless, this will be considered one of the greatest innings played by any batter in the history of the league.
The best thing about Vaibhav is that he is just 15 years old and has a huge future ahead of him. People are already wondering that if this is what he can do now, even greater things can be expected from him in the future.
This 15 year old boy is now one of the most entertaining players in the IPL, which is an astonishing feat considering legendary players like Kohli and Rohit Sharma are still active, yet he is easily grabbing the spotlight.
It is now the responsibility of the BCCI to ensure that this extremely talented youngster eventually finds a place in the Indian cricket team because very few players are showing this level of promise at the moment.
It would be a huge disappointment for Indian cricket if Vaibhav does not get an opportunity at the right time after everything he has shown in the IPL. His services to the national team could become extremely valuable in the future.
