Why So Much Confusion? Dhoni Must Retire Or Clarify?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been one of the iconic players in the Indian Cricket set up for the last couple of decades, and he is still the most popular cricketer, despite not being active for the last few years.

In fact, the entire Chennai Super Kings ecosystem still revolves around Dhoni and the majority of the ticket sales happen due to his name. But Dhoni had been disappointing fans and the CSK management for the last couple of years.

Considering the age factor and the fitness issue, Dhoni has been very tentative about his participation in the IPL. The sad part is that he was not a part of even a single game last season, which greatly disappointed fans who had been hoping to watch him in the stadium by buying the tickets.

Coming to the topic now, there is a latest discussion happening about the participation of Dhoni in the next season. On this matter, he commented “I’ll have to go through the tests. You’ll have to give me the report, and before December, I’ll need to assess how strong I am and whether I can play one more season.”

There is a lot of confusion still happening about the participation of Dhoni in the IPL matches. This has now arrived at a point where even fans are frustrated with the waiting game. They have been buying tickets at the Chennai Stadium to get a glimpse of Dhoni for one last time, but that is not happening.
