Five Indian players have breached the Covid-19 protocol in Australia and they have been sent to isolation by the Australian authorities. According to the reports, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and Navdeep Saini went out to a restaurant in Melbourne.
A video of this posted by a person who too was in the restaurant and this caught the authorities attention. The BCCI and Cricket Australia have launched an investigation on this footage.
These five players have been separated from the Indian and Australian squads as a precautionary measure. But they will continue to train for the third Test match coming up in Sydney.
Due to the Covid-19, biosecurity rules are brought in place for prayers visiting overseas. Seems like Indian players have reached the protocol during the New Year.
