Telugu cricketer Hanuma Vihari who was the hero of the third Test match between India and Australia played at Sydney, met Telangana IT minister KTR. Vihari reached Pragathi Bhavan this afternoon and personally called on KTR.
The minister felicitated Vihari on this occasion with shawl for his outstanding effort in saving the Test match despite the grade 2 hamstring injury. Right after the match KTR took to his Twitter and hailed the efforts of both Vihari and Ashwin.
Vihari presented a bat signed to KTR and tweeted, “It was a pleasure meeting you and having a conversation about cricket sir. @KTRTRS,” with a picture. Both had a good chat on cricket for some time and then Vihari left.
Vihari will now head to National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and will work with the BCCI medical team on his recovery.
