Tokyo Olympics: PV Sindhu Enters Pre-quarter Finals


Indian star badminton player PV Sindhu is continuing her successful form at the Tokyo Olympics. The Rio Olympic medalist has won her second game on Wednesday.

PV Sindhu won 2-0 against Cheung Ngan Yi of Hong Kong in a Group J badminton match. With this victory, Sindhu confirmed her place in women’s singles Round of 16.

It was an easy match for Sindhu as she won two sets back to back. The Hyderabad player looks super confident and gave her best against Cheung Ngan Yi.

PV Sindhu won the match with the statistics 21-9 and 21-16 against the Hongkong player.

On Tuesday, the men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Ranikreddy and Chirag Shetty bowed out leaving the fans put full hopes in PV Sindhu for a medal in Badminton at Tokyo Olympics.
