India recorded 41,831 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With the single-day rise of 41,831 new cases, India’s COVID-19 tally climbed to 3,16,55,824 on Sunday, while the death toll due to the viral disease shot up to 4,24,351 with 541 more people succumbing to it, says the Union Government data.
The Covid cases witnessed an increase for the fifth consecutive day, thus the active cases climbed to 4,10,952 which is 1.30 percent of the total infections. The recovery rate stands at 97.36 percent which is blessing in disguise.
Meanwhile, the cumulative vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 47 Crore, according to the Union Health Ministry.
