The Indian contingent at the Tokyo Olympics put a great show this time. With 7 medals to their kitty, the Indian Athletes ended their journey this edition. Golf
Aditi Ashok missed a medal by a whisker. No one focused on Aditi’s game in the last three days but she played consistently and continued in the second spot. By the end of the four days, she finished at the 4th spot and shifted everyone’s attention to her. She made everyone proud by displaying an amazing performance at the age of 23.
Wrestling
Bajrang Punia bagged a Bronze Medal in wrestling. He beat the reigning World Silver medalist Daulet Niyazbekov with 8-0 in the men’s freestyle 65kg wrestling event.
Javelin Throw
Neeraj Chopra scripted history by becoming the second Indian individual to score a Gold medal in the Olympics. He gave a successful ending to the journey of the Indian contingent at the Toky Olympics.
