The state of Andhra Pradesh has witnessed 207 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours and among them was a sanitary inspector who works in Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD). This sanitary inspector was carrying out his day-to-day work at Govindarajaswami temple.
As and when this news broke out, the temple was shutdown for devotees. Further TTD has decided to close the temple till Sunday and in this meantime they would carry out the sanitization works at the temple and its surroundings.
Also the officials are busy tracing the people and place the sanitary inspector had visited in the last couple of days. Meanwhile the total Corona cases in AP stand at 5636 while 80 people have died in the state.
