India has been recording highest number of Covid-19 new cases every day surpassing the previous day’s record. In the last 24 hours, 11,458 new cases have been reported while the total cases count has surpassed three lakh. Currently the total cases are 3,08,993.
1,45,779 are the active cases while 1,54,329 have got cured of the virus and discharged from the hospital. Not just the cases, even in deaths, India is reporting highest numbers. 386 people have died of the virus in the last 24 hours and total death count is 8884. India has surpassed Germany, Ireland and Canada in the deaths.
The Union Health Ministry added that the recovery rate is 49.94 percent which is considerably high. The state of Maharashtra has crossed a milestone with one lakh cases. Tamil Nadu is the next state with over 40,000 cases while New Delhi has over 36,000 cases.
