IPL: Settled RCB To Take On Confident KKR In Eliminator

We have witnessed a crackling game between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals last night. The former had defeated the Delhi franchise to qualify for the final. Tonight, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders will take on each other in the Eliminator.

RCB looked settled in this edition of the IPL. Moreover, they are coming from a thrilling victory against Delhi Capitals in their last league game. That win would have boosted a lot of confidence among Virat Kohli’s men. The form of Glenn Maxwell is a huge advantage for RCB.

However, inconsistent performances of Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal would be a concern though. On the bowling front, barring Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal, no one else is contributing enough for the team. Even though they haven’t performed to their abilities, Dan Christian and George Garton may get picked for this crucial game.

On the whole, RCB players will be looking forward to winning this game at any cost because this will be Kohli’s last season as their captain.

On the flip side, we have Kolkata Knight Riders who had a tipsy-topsy kind of a tournament. But what makes them strong is that every player is contributing in different games. They have a new hero in every match. It has to be seen if Andre Russell makes his comeback in this eliminator. Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine’s spells will be crucial on the slow track of Sharjah.

The winner of this match will play against Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2 on Wednesday.
