Complete Lockdown In Bengaluru From July 14 to 22

Karnataka announced a complete lockdown in Bengaluru from July 14 to 22 as the third most populated city is seeing a huge spike in Coronavirus cases lately. The lockdown starts at 8 pm on July 14 to 5 am of July 22.

While the lockdown is on, the essential services will remain operational, the chief minister’s office announced. Bengaluru city and Bengaluru rural will be under complete lockdown, and this decision was taken after the CM office consulted with the health experts. A detailed set of guidelines will be issued on Monday.

The essential services like milk supply, vegetables, fruits, medicines, and groceries will be available uninterrupted during the lockdown time and the state government is asking the public to cooperate with the government on this.

Bengaluru Urban district has the highest number of cases in Karnataka state with the positive cases grew more than 15,000.

Now that Bengaluru will be under lockdown, there is a probable chance that Telangana government to consider lockding down Hyderabad, amid the rise in coronavirus cases in GHMC area.
