One Million Corona Cases In India

And the inevitable has happened. India has created an unnecessary record in total Covid-19 cases by touching one million. In the last 24 hours, 34,956 new positive cases have been reported while the total cases has gone up to 10,03,832. With this India is just behind to the United States and Brazil.

In the death tally too, India has gone past the 25K mark as yesterday 687 people have died. The total death count now stands at 25,602. The active cases count is also going up, if observed for the last few days. 3,42,473 are the current active cases while 6,35,757 got cured of the virus.

Coming to the Telugu states, AP has slightly over 38,000 while Telangana has 41,018 cases.

Irrespective of the Union Health Ministry statement the other day, the cases are increasing at a rapid pace. Yesterday’s cases are the highest in a single day which almost touched the 35,000 mark.
