Chief Justice of T’gana HC Stops His Car For A Traffic Cop; Here’s Why

In an unexpected and rare humility, a viral picture shows the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, Satish Chandra Sharma, felicitating a traffic official. It was impromptu and the Chief Justice is seen giving a bouquet to a traffic cop for his exemplary commitment to his work.

The incident happened today and left netizens speechless over this beautiful picture. Justice Sharma had seen Ashraf Ali, from Abids Traffic Police Station, delivering his services with utmost sincerity, during his regular commute to the High Court. Today, he decided to stop his car at the Babu Jagjivanram statue at Abids and appreciate his hard work by a small yet sweet felicitation.

Mr Ali receiving the bouquet from Justice Sharma is one of its rare kind of events we come across and several social media users have appreciated the Chief Justice’s gesture. Lauding Sharma for his appreciation towards this underpaid gentleman, “Splendid gentleman, our Chief Justice of Telangana High Court to do such a wonderful act. Imagine how great and proud the cop must be still feeling,” wrote a user.

For the unversed, Justice Sharma took over as Telangana High Court Chief Justice in October 2021. Previously, he served as the Acting Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.
