Adding more power to the Indian Air Force, the Rafale Jets have landed in India short while ago. The five fighters jets have touched the Ambala Airbase in Haryana and they have been welcomed with water spray by the airbase authority.

On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi tweeted in Sanskrit language welcoming the fighter jets. Union Defence minister too was ecstatic upon the arrival of these jets.

“The Birds have landed safely in Ambala. The touch down of Rafale combat aircraft in India marks the beginning of a new era in our Military History. These multirole aircraft will revolutionise the capabilities of the Indian Air Force,” tweeted Rajnath.

In another tweet, he wrote, “I would like to add, if it is anyone who should be worried about or critical about this new capability of the Indian Air Force, it should be those who want to threaten our territorial integrity.”

Out of the five jets, three are war jets while two are trainee jets.
