Squid Game is one of the most popular web series made by Netflix. It was a sensational hit on a global level and also enjoys a huge fandom across many countries.
Now, Netflix has announced a reality game series that is based on this show. Titled Squid Game The Challenge, this reality show will feature 456 contestants who will play a series of games as in the Squid Game.

There are three categories for applicants: USA, UK, and Rest of the World. Already, the initiative is getting a stunning response from the fans.
Written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, Squid Game premiered in September 2021. Within no time, it became the most-watched series on Netflix. According to the streaming platform, Squid Game registered over 1.65 billion viewing hours in its first 28 days.
