Green Signal For IPL: All Eyes On MS Dhoni Now

More than his stylish cricketing shots, terrific captaincy, an amazing pace behind the wickets, former Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni is always popular for his style statements. During the start of his career, his long hair became a rage that even the likes of John Abraham and Nagarjuna Akkineni emulated it for their the-then movies.

Other day, Dhoni has shared his latest picture where he is sporting a short haircut and the salt-pepper beard look. As the picture went viral in just two days, a talk got triggered about the future of this legendary cricketer who changed the way India approaches cricket forever. The 39-year-old is not part of the ODI, Test or the T20 squads that were announced before the lockdown and everyone predicted that he is on his way to retirement. However, Dhoni rebutted such talks and stated that he is available if the team calls.

Now that IPL is going to be rolled out first from September 19 to November 8, millions of eyes will be looking at Dhoni and his performance. As the cricketer looks super fit, no doubt, if he leads Chennai Super Kings into the finals or to snatch the cup, then things will be different for him in Team India. However, his ‘strike rate’ was the most worrying factor during the last season, so we have to see if Dhoni will be back to his own best form yet again.
