Since Monday morning the hashtag #PatanjaliIPL is trending on social media and then reports came that Baba Ramdev’s multi crore company is also in contention for the Indian Premiere League title sponsorship.
Confirming this news, Patanjali spokesperson SK Tijarawala said “We are considering the IPL title sponsorship for this year since we want to give the Patanjali brand a global marketing platform.”
Already we have heard reports about Mukesh Ambani’s Jio, E-commerce giant Amazon, BYJU’S, Coca-Cola and DREAM11 are in race for IPL title sponsorship and now Patanjali has joined.
The BCCI is yet to invite bidding for the title sponsorship. But it may happen soon as the start of IPL is fast approaching.
