Stand Up Comedian Raju Srivastava Dies!

Stand up comedian Raju Srivastava has passed away after battling with health issues. On August 10th, Raju experienced chest pain while running on a treadmill at a gym. Following this he suffered a heart attack. Personal trainer of Raju Srivastava had rushed him to hospital and he was undergoing treatment since then.

Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi and the doctors have put him on life support in intensive care. For nearly two weeks he was on a ventilator and after regaining consciousness, he suffered high fever. Again Raju was put on a ventilator but the complications piled up. This morning Raju Srivastava breathed his last.

Raju Srivastava started his career as an actor with small roles in the year 1989. But he shot to fame as a stand up comedian with the first season of ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. He was also seen in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil.’
