Oxford Vaccine To Be Available For Indians By End Of 2020

Though Russia is claiming that it has come up with the Covid-19 vaccine, there are many doubts on it. On this note, India is closely monitoring the Oxford Vaccine which is being developed in collaboration with Pune based Serum Institute.

The latest updates about Oxford vaccine is, it is likely to be available for Indians by the end of this year. The Oxford vaccine’s development is advanced stages compared to the Indian based vaccines being developed by Bharat BioTech and Zydus Cadila’s Zycov D.

Oxford and Serum vaccine is in phase 2 and 3 stages while the Indian grown vaccines are in phase 1 and 2 stages. Also the size of Oxford vaccine is 1600 spread across 17 selected sites and the preliminary results are quite encouraging.

On the whole the development of vaccine both in and outside of India are progressing with good updates.
