There are more spine-chilling details about the Delhi live-in partner murder that are coming out each day. According to police sources, Aftab Ameen Poonawala burnt live-in partner Shraddha Walkar’s face after allegedly murdering her and chopping the body into pieces to rule out the possibility of identification.
Aftab reportedly revealed to the police that he found the information on how to conceal the evidence on the internet. It is already known that he murdered and chopped her after getting inspired by the television show ‘Dexter’.
The key evidence like the murder weapon, Shraddha’s clothes, and her missing body parts including the head is yet to be found. Police have found 10 body parts from Mehrauli forest and they were all sent for DNA testing. To find Shraddha’s clothes police are relying upon onf the civic network of waste collection.
There were reports that a human head and other body parts were found in east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar days after Aftab allegedly killed Shraddha. They were sent for DNA testing. A local court approved a narco-analysis test, for lie-detection, on Aftab Poonawala. Police will be taking him to Himachal Pradesh’s Parvati Valley where the couple holidayed before moving to Delhi in May.
Aftab confessed to killing Shraddha following frequent fights over her wish to get married. Aftab killed her on May 18 and chopped off her body into 35 pieces and disposed of them for over 18 days.
