An NRI couple whose roots from Guntur have gone missing in the United States. The victims are identified as Muddana Narayana and Hairtha.
In complete details, Narayana and Haritha are residents of Arizona and being holiday season, they planned a short trip near to Phoenix. While crossing a lake, both Narayana and Haritha gone missing.
The rescue teams recovered Haritha and performed CPR for her. The efforts went vain and Haritha was declared dead. The rescue teams are still searching for Narayana’s body.
Narayana hails from Palaparru village of Pedanandipadu mandal, Guntur. In June, the couple visited India along with their two kids. After spending time with family, they returned to the US.
Post this incident, Narayana’s father was informed about the mishap. His father requested the state government and concerned authorities for mortal remains of Narayana and Haritha.
At least 59 people have lost their lives in weather-related incidents across the United States, according to an NBC News tally as the monster storm gripped most of the nation coupled with snow, ice and howling winds, reported Reuters.
