Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi has been admitted to a private hospital in Ahmedabad. According to the latest media reports, Heeraben was admitted to UN Mehta hospital after she complained of high blood pressure.
A team of doctors have immediately attended Heeraben and for now her condition is not known. The hospital sources are yet to release a statement and media reports inform that a statement is expected in the evening hours today.
Learning about this BJP’s Gujarat MLAs Darshanaben Vaghela and Kaushik Jain have reached the hospital and are enquiring the details from the doctors. The MLAs will be updating about Heeraben’s health to PM Modi.
PM Modi is currently in New Delhi. Some time back he met AP CM YS Jagan at 7 Race Course Road. It is unclear whether Modi will fly to Gujarat to see his mother. Earlier in June, Heeraben turned 100, PM Modi arrived at her residence and greeted on celebrating 100 years.
Seems like tragedy struck in Modi’s family. The other day Modi’s brother, Prahlad met with an accident in Karnataka and now his mother fell sick.
