Pics: Anant Ambani engaged to Radhika Merchant

It’s a season of good news for the Ambanis as Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani was engaged to Viren Merchant’s daughter Radhika Merchant in Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan’s Nathdwara. Last month, Mukesh Ambani’s daughter gave birth to twins bringing joy and happiness to their home. The engagement, which happened today in Nathdwara’s Shrinathji temple, was conducted traditionally also known as a ‘Roka ceremony’.

Mukesh Ambani is the chairperson of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) while Viren Merchant is a successful business magnate in the Pharmaceutical Industry. ‘ANI MP/CG/Rajasthan’ posted the pictures of the ceremony on Twitter. Anant and Radhika have known each other for a few years now.

While Anant has completed his studies at Brown University USA, Radhika is a graduate of New York University and is currently a Board of Director of Encore Healthcare. Anant will soon lead RIL’s new energy business.

Previously, Radhika Merchant was in the news when the Ambanis hosted the ‘Arangetram’ ceremony at the Jio World Cinema in Mumbai. Ever since then, the speculations of Radhika and Anant getting married have been in the news. The date of marriage is yet to be decided but will most probably be in the year 2023.
