The United States Consulate General in Hyderabad had announced a shift in its visa application center. From January 8th the current application center will run operations at the new location in Madhapur. Regarding the same the Consulate General issued a statement with details of the new center.
Lower Concourse near Hi-Tech city metro station will serve as the new application center. All applicants visiting the Hyderabad Visa Application Center (old) for their scheduled appointments, document submission & passport collection were asked to reach out to the new location,” tweeted the Hyderabad Consulate General.
However, regular services visa interviews and others will continue at the old consulate located in Begumpet, clarified the Consulate General. On the other hand, Asia’s largest US Consulate is getting ready in Hyderabad’s financial district.
Spread across over 12 acres, this Consulate office will have 54 visa processing windows and the US government has invested $297 million for its construction.
