Delhi Accident Case: Eyewitness Nidhi Was Arrested In Drugs Case

In an update to the case of a horrific accident where the victim was dragged for more than 13 kilometers in Delhi, the eye witness Nidhi was arrested in 2020 in a drug case.

It is already known that Nidhi was riding as a pillion on Anjali Singh’s scooty on the night of New year. In a CCTV footage obtained by the police, it could be seen that Nidhi walked away from the hit-and-run case. Nidhi was arrested in December 2020 in a case registered in Agra Cantt under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act according to the police.

Police also clarified that Nidhi has not been arrested in Sultanpuri death case, but was only called to join the investigation. Nidhi earlier alleged that the accused knew Anjali was stuck under their car.

So far, six people have been arrested and one has surrendered. Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mithun, and Manoj Mittal were arrested and police arrested Ashutosh and Ankush Khanna as they were involved in shielding the accused.
