Singer Sonu Nigam was Attacked At Mumbai Concert, Rushed To Hospital

Popular singer Sonu Nigam has been admitted to a hospital after an alleged attack by Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar’s son.

Sonu Nigam reportedly had a quarrel with MLA’s son when the latter and his cousin tried to take a selfie with Sonu Nigam forcibly. Sonu Nigam’s bodyguards had a scuffle with MLA’s son and nephew where the singer was reportedly attacked. MLA Phaterpekar was the organizer of the Chembur festival where Sonu performed.

Sonu Nigam was performing at the finale. There were reports that someone from the organizer’s team allegedly tried to misbehave with Sonu’s manager, Saira. Sonu Nigam hasn’t filed any police complaint so far.

The singer is reportedly safe, but his guru Ghulam Mustafa Khan’s son and his close aid Rabbani Khan and his bodyguard have sustained some injuries.
