In a setback to Chiranjeevi, the High Court has ordered him to not do any construction activity in the litigant land in Jubilee Hills housing society. The court ordered Chiranjeevi and the housing society to stop all the construction works with immediate effect.
Going into details, Chiranjeevi has bought a land of 595 square yards in Jubilee Hills housing society. However, it is alleged that this land was originally meant for public usage.
Complainant J Srikant Babu and others have moved the High Court alleging that the Jubilee Hills housing society has illegally sold this land to actor Chiranjeevi against the rules. The complainant alleged that GHMC hasn’t taken any action in this matter and hence actor Chiranjeevi had started the construction work in the litigant land.
After hearing the arguments, the High Court ordered Chiranjeevi to not do any construction work. The court ordered the Jubilee Hills housing society and the GHMC to file the counter in the case. The next hearing has been posted to April 25, 2023.
