The New U.S. Consulate In Nanakramguda – All You Need To Know

Most of the Telugu folks who came to the US in the last 15 years must be knowing the Visa application center in Gowra Grand and the U.S Consulate in Paigah Palace Begumpet, Hyderabad.

The U.S. Consulate was in plans to move to a bigger and better facility and now it happened. The U.S Consulate at Paigah Palace is officially closed and the regular operations at the new facility in Nanakramguda will begin at 8:30 am on Monday, March 20.

The U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad approved more than 16 lakh visas and processed 42,511 US Citizenship services during their 14 years at the Paigah Palace.

Jennifer Larson tweeted the other day, ‘Today we lowered the U.S. flag at Paigah Palace for the last time. It’s been an amazing 14 years here and we’re excited to open a new chapter in the U.S.-India partnership at our new facility in Nanakramguda.

• As of March 20, the New address of the U.S. Consulate General In Hyderabad will be: Sy. No. 115/1, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, Telangana, 500032
• US Consulate will close at 12pm on March 15 and we will not re-open for regular business until 8:30 am on March 20. If you are a U.S. citizen who needs emergency consular services during this time period, please call +91 040 4033 8300.
• For biometrics appointments associated with a visa application, please go to the Visa Application Center (VAC), located at the Lower Concourse, HITEC City Metro Station, Madhapur, HYD 500081. The consulate move does not affect this process.
• For visa dropbox (interview waiver) cases, applicants should deliver application materials & later pick up passports at the Visa Application Center (VAC), located at Lower Concourse, HITEC City Metro Station, Madhapur, HYD 500081. The consulate move does not affect this process.
