US: Telugu Man Stabs Prostitute After Demanding A Refund

A Telugu man Vineeth Ravuri attacked a prostitute in New Jersey after he reportedly demanded a refund from her when she told him to leave. The incident happened at the Aloft Hotel on Harmon Meadow Boulevard.

The 26-year-old man attacked her with a knife and she suffered a laceration to her finger and buttocks. Police responded to the hotel at 8:42 pm and located a woman in the lobby of the hotel bleeding from the hand. The woman told the police she met Vineeth Ravuri at the hotel to engage in sexual activity for money.

Vineeth reportedly tried to stop the woman from leaving the room but she ran into the hallway and screamed for help. Rauri has blood on his jacket and foot, in the lobby of the hotel and he was arrested. Ravuri was in possession of a bloody knife used in the assault. He was lodged in the Hudson County Jail.

The man was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, criminal restraint, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and engaging in prostitution.
