A Bhojpuri actress named Suman Kumari was arrested for allegedly forcing models into prostitution. Mumbai police rescued three women from being trapped.
‘A Bhojpuri actress Suman Kumari (24) has been arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly forcing girls (models) into prostitution. Police also rescued three models. Further investigation is being done,’ the Crime Branch said in a statement on Friday.
Suman Kumari was caught red-handed after cops raided a hotel in Goregaon post receving a tip off. The 24-year-old actress has been accused of forcing the girls into prostitution in exchange of over Rs 50,000.
