Actress Suicide Case Verdict Tomorrow, Accused Hero ‘Anxious’

Mumbai court is likely to pronounce the verdict on actress Jiah Khan’s suicide case tomorrow, April 28th. Special judge, AS Sayyad completed hearing the final arguments on April 20 and he is likely to announce tomorrow, as reported by Bar and Bench.

A report revealed that the accused Sooraj Pancholi and everyone in the family are ‘anxious’ but also very positive about the verdict.

Jiah Khan was found hanging in her home in June 2013. Her mother Rabia Khan accused Sooraj Pancholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi of mistreating Jiah. Jiah Khan had also allegedly written a 6-page letter describing her relationship with Sooraj Pancholi. Sooraj was booked for abetment of suicide and he was arrested but later released on bail.

Jiah’s mother moved to the Bombay High Court of Sooraj and was released on bail. The CBI took charge in December 2015 with the case and filed an abetment of suicide under Section 306 on Sooraj Pancholi.
