Scam Alert! Don’t Answer WhatsApp Calls From These Numbers

If you are getting spam calls and blank calls from many unknown international numbers in the last few weeks, you are not alone. Even a lot of people have been asking on social media, including celebrities about the WhatsApp calls they are getting from certain numbers.

It looks like WhatsApp has once again become a scammer’s target. Many people have complained on Twitter about getting calls from numbers starting +1 (218), +84, +62, +60, +63, and +254.

Experts working with the government are advising WhatsApp users to report and block unwanted calls and messages from these numbers.

It is learned to be a cyber crime trend to steal people’s financial data on phones. The international numbers have Malaysia, Kenya, Singapore, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and even US origins. The frequency of calls is relatively medium to high. Some have reported receiving 2-4 calls every other day.

Also, the users should be aware of messages or links they receive from the unknown caller.
