A student in Class 8 died due to cardiac arrest while playing with his friends at his school in Greater Noida.
Rohit Singh, a 15-year-old student was declared dead after he was rushed to the nearby hospital by teachers at Gautambudh Nagar school. Rohit Singh lost consciousness after he fell on the ground while playing.
The teachers tried to give him ORS thinking he fell unconscious due to dehydration. Since he failed to regain consciousness, he was brought to the hospital. The cause of death was a heart attack and the body was sent for postmortem.
The increase in the incidents of heart attacks among younger people in India is worrying all.
