Man Murders Lover, Chops and Boils Body Parts

A tragic incident unfolded in Mumbai as a man was arrested for allegedly killing his live-in partner, chopping up her body, and even boiling some pieces in a pressure cooker. The victim, Saraswati Vaidya, aged 32, was discovered in her apartment on the seventh floor of a residential building in Mira Road. She had been living with her partner, Manoj Sane, aged 56, in a rented flat for the past three years.

The gruesome scene came to light after residents of the building complained about a foul odor emanating from Vaidya and Sane’s apartment. Upon investigation, the police found Vaidya’s decomposed body severed into multiple pieces, indicating a brutal killing. Walkar, a call center employee, was strangled by her live-in partner, who then dismembered her body into 35 pieces and disposed of them over an 18-day period. The case only came to light six months later when Walkar’s father filed a missing persons complaint. The perpetrator was subsequently arrested and charged with murder and destruction of evidence.
