Man Murders Lover, Chops and Boils Body Parts

A tragic incident unfolded in Mumbai as a man was arrested for allegedly killing his live-in partner, chopping up her body, and even boiling some pieces in a pressure cooker. The victim, Saraswati Vaidya, aged 32, was discovered in her apartment on the seventh floor of a residential building in Mira Road. She had been living with her partner, Manoj Sane, aged 56, in a rented flat for the past three years.

The gruesome scene came to light after residents of the building complained about a foul odor emanating from Vaidya and Sane’s apartment. Upon investigation, the police found Vaidya’s decomposed body severed into multiple pieces, indicating a brutal killing. The authorities promptly arrested Sane in connection with the horrific incident. The motive behind the crime has not been disclosed yet.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities piece together the details surrounding Vaidya’s tragic death. According to Sane, he claims that Vaidya died by suicide, but further evidence and examination will be conducted to ascertain the truth.

This incident bears eerie similarities to the Shraddha Walkar murder case that shocked the nation last year. Walkar, a call center employee, was strangled by her live-in partner, who then dismembered her body into 35 pieces and disposed of them over an 18-day period. The case only came to light six months later when Walkar’s father filed a missing persons complaint. The perpetrator was subsequently arrested and charged with murder and destruction of evidence.

The authorities are committed to ensuring justice for Saraswati Vaidya and are urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation. This deeply troubling incident highlights the need for continued efforts to address domestic violence and ensure the safety of individuals in intimate relationships.
