Anushka’s Pregnancy: Lady Journo’s Satire, Director’s Counter

Anushka Sharma’ pregnancy and her baby bump has become a trending topic online. Anushka’s baby bump picture and Virat Kohli’s comment is the trending topic. Responding to this, a lady journalist has made a shocking satire. “Anushka, he has only made you pregnant, Not the Queen of England, hold on to your horses #InsecureTrending,” wrote one Meena Das Narayan who is a journalist, Editor-in Chief of Gulf and VP of Viswa Hindu Parishad, Karnataka.

These comments of Meena Das have invited ire of many who condemned her remarks. Interestingly, our own Tollywood director Maruthi was quick to respond to Meena’s regressive remarks. Maruthi has dubbed Meena’s comments as disgraceful and opined that Motherhood is “bigger joy” than being queen of England.

“Disgraceful comments. That too frm a lady journalist 🙁 Motherhood is bigger joy than being queen of England. Yes every woman is a queen & every happy home is a kingdom. She’s a normal human being too before being a celebrity & she has full right to be happy & flaunt her baby bump,” wrote Maruthi on Twitter.

Several other celebs have appreciated Maruthi for his views. Heroine Lavanya Tripathi has applauded Maruthi’s counter to lady journo.
