Fact Check: Viral Video Of Jackie Chan Crying Is Not Real!

A video of superstar Jackie Chan has gone viral recently. In the video, Jackie Chan is seen crying after watching his old stunts from many of his movies. The video is going viral with the claim that Jackie Chan got emotional after seeing himself through the years.

In a fact check, that video is actually from a movie and the girl seen in the video is also not Jackie Chan’s daughter. The clip is from a scene in the movie Ride On and the girl in the video is actress Liu Haocun, playing Chan’s character’s daughter.

Chan plays a retired stunt actor and in the scene, he’s watching his old films. In real life, he and his daughter Etta Ng do not have a great relationship. Jackie Chan’s real daughter was reportedly disowned by him because of her being gay.

So, while this video of Jackie Chan is really emotional and heartwarming, it is not real but a scene from a movie.
