After operating for around 20+ years in India, the technology giant Apple decided to launch its first online store in India, i.e on 23rd September. With its online store, Apple intends to provide the premium experience to customers.
Besides retail stores and third party online apps, Apple has come forward to support customers with premium experience and offer expertise (in setting up new devices). The online store will assist Apple customers in both English and Hindi languages. To coincide with the coming festive season in India, Apple e-store is likely to offer signature gift wrap and personalized engraving on some selected products.
Engraving of emoji or text will be offered in regional languages like Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu for AirPods, and English engraving is expected to be available for iPad and Apple Pencil.
Revealing the news officially, Tim Cook tweeted – “We know how important it is for our customers to stay in touch with those they love and the world around them. We can’t wait to connect with our customers and expand support in India with the Apple Store online on September 23! 🇮🇳”
