Sushmita Sen Breaks Silence On Lalit Modi Row

Bollywood actress and former Miss World Sushmita Sen’s personal life always drew a lot of attention. Earlier, she was in headlines when she was reportedly seeing IPL founder Lalit Modi. The pics of the duo’s holiday went viral. However, they part ways. Since then, Sushmita had not broken her silence on the issue. She finally opened up about the topic in an interview.

Sushmita said it is her personal life and it is not anyone’s business to know about it. She said it is not mandatory to disclose about her personal life. However, she talked about the trolls, comments and criticism she faced when the news of her dating Lalit Modi came into the light. Sushmita recalled how some netizens trolled her as “Gold Digger”. She said she never gave importance to criticism and doesn’t let them affect her or influence her. She said she let them go. “If I allow them to affect me and take them seriously, I may overthink and I may feel bad. I didn’t do that. I need not publicly share about my personal life.”

When asked about her relationship status currently, Sushmita admitted she is not in a relationship with anyone currently. “I’m single right now.” Talking about the negativity online, Sushmita said, “I’ll respond when I feel like responding and when I want to. Or else, I don’t respond.” Sushmita’s honest comments are going viral now.
