Day by day, the traffic issues become a serious problem in Hyderabad city. Most of the time, it is wrong side driving that becomes a problem for the accidents in the city. A lot of complaints have been received by the traffic cops regarding the violation of traffic rules by Swiggy and Zomato delivery executives. The traffic police tried to counsel the executives but it did not help them in a desirable way.
So, the traffic police decided to tag Zomato officially with a CCTV footage of the delivery executives taking a wrong side at traffic signals. “Dear @Zomato, Is this what you teach your executives?” posted Cyberabad Traffic Police on their Twitter profile.
A lot of netizens too shared their opinions regarding the same with the cops.
“Hi there, if possible, please help us with any details (bike number plate, location and time, etc.) over private message and we’ll forward this to our team for further investigation.” tweeted Zomato as a reply to the police officials.
“Hey Vishal, we do not condone such actions and expect our Delivery fleet to strictly follow the traffic regulations and norms. It’s sad to know that you have observed differently. Please do help us with more details on the area so that we can pass the feedback on to the relevant team and work on preventing such instances.” replied Swiggy as a reply, in the same thread.
With this tweet from cops, let us hope that the food-delivery apps come up with strict rules to sensitize their delivery executives in following the traffic rules.
