Sunil Gavaskar Trolled For ‘joke’ on Kohli-Anushka

Royal Challengers Bangalore lost their second match to Kings XI Punjab on Thursday in Dream 11 Indian Premier League. After a fantastic win in the first match over Sun Risers Hyderabad, RCB filled hopes in the fans about a dream run in the tournament.

However, the bad luck continued for RCB and they tasted a big debacle. What’s more surprising is to see Virat Kohli dropping two big catches in the current match. A lot of netizens trolled him for the same but what could not be digested is veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar dragging Anushka Sharma’s name into the same.

Apparently, Sunil Gavaskar is one of the commentators for Star Sports. Gavaskar reportedly commented, “Inhone lockdown me to bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hain”. He meant that Kohli has only trained against Anushka’s balls in the lockdown. The fans and cricket lovers heavily criticsed Gavaskar for his comments. Had it been some other person in that place, the criticism could have been less. But, Gavaskar, one of the soft-spoken veteran cricketers making a comment like that did not really go well with the fans.

The social media is trolling Gavaskar and finding fault with his comments. Kohli, after the match, accepted that they could not perform well due to pressure. He expressed hope to work on their mistakes and make a comeback.
