In a distressing turn of events, a couple in Hyderabad hanged their four-year-old daughter before succumbing to suicide themselves.
The shocking incident took place in the Musheerabad area, where Sai Krishna and Chitrakala took this extreme step at their rented residence in Gangaputra colony. The grim discovery was made when a concerned neighbor, receiving no response, alerted the police, who subsequently broke open the door to find all three individuals hanging.
The couple, originally from Andhra Pradesh, left writings on the walls explaining the motive behind their tragic decision. Chitrakala had recently lost her job in a private organization due to allegations of fund misappropriation, claiming injustice despite her pleas reaching the highest levels.
Sai Krishna, employed as a driver in an app-based service, was also involved in the unfortunate incident. The police suspect the couple carried out this extreme step on November 16. The bodies have been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy, and an investigation is underway.
