Woman Kills 2 Kids, Dies Over Fight On New Sankranthi Clothes

It is a common Telugu tradition to buy new clothes for the Sankranthi season. But this tradition has now sadly resulted in a lady from Telangana killing her two kids and also taking her own life after a clash with her husband regarding new clothes.

Nagamma(26) is a native of Lingala Mandal, Nagarkurnool, and she has two kids Bhayamma(3) and Yadamma(1). She is married to Chinna Bhayanna who has two wives with Nagamma being the younger one.

Nagamma requested Bhayanna, who works as a watchman at Peddavagu basecamp to buy her and her kids new clothes for Sankranthi. But Bhayanna reportedly hadn’t been getting his salary for the last 4 months and was in trouble, so he turned down her request. This led to a clash between the couple and the family was in distress.

Then came the drastic decision from Nagamma as she strangled her kids to death and later hung by the ceiling to end her own life. The neighbours grew suspicious and intimated the police, who arrived on the scene to find three dead bodies. In the end, a fight over new clothes has resulted in three deaths.
