Court Orders 1 Yr Jail For Bandla Ganesh

Producer, actor, and politician Bandla Ganesh has come under the legal radar as he has been sentenced to 1-year jail term by the Ongole district court today. This is due to the cheque bounce case that has been filed against Bandla Ganesh.

A man named Jetti Venkateswarulu had filed a cheque bounce case against Bandla Ganesh. He pled to the court for legal action against Bandla Ganesh for defaulting on the cheque payment of Rs 95 lakh.

Bandla Ganesh reportedly took Rs 95 lakh from Venkateswarulu in 2019 and gave a cheque on behalf of Parameshwara Arts for the amount as surety. However, Ganesh failed the most important part of the deal as he defaulted on the cheque payment.

After the cheque bounced, the victim filed a court case and initiated legal proceedings. The Ongole district court has announced the verdict on the case by sentencing Bandla Ganesh to one year in jail. He has been given 1 month’s time to appeal.
