Rhea Chakraborty, who was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in the drugs case, has got a great relief as the actress finally walked out of the jail the other day nearly one month after her arrest.
However, Rhea’s jail routine in the one month was not known much. Besides living life like a commoner inside jail with remote facilities and didn’t get “home food”, Rhea yet conducted herself well inside jail, said her lawyer.
Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde revealed that the actress had fought the situation like a “battle” as an army girl. He said Rhea even conducted “Yoga Session” to other jail inmates. He added that Rhea did Yoga to keep her in good spirits and also did it for other jail inmates. He also added that Rhea is going to “continue her fight” and “ready to fight anyone” who accuses her and harms her interests. In a statement released to the media after Rhea was granted bail, lawyer Satish said “Justice has prevailed”. Satish in the statement, however, said “witch-hunt” against Rhea “must end”.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai High Court had granted a conditional bail to Rhea and asked her to submit her passport. She was asked not to leave Bombay and asked her to present before the local police station for the next ten days. She has been asked to furnish a Rs 1 lakh bond. Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty was not lucky as he was not granted bail and he continues to be in jail.
